Sibford Old Scholars’ are formally invited to join the annual Sibford School Celebration Day on Saturday 17th June 2023 starting from 10.00am.
To enjoy the various activities, please do bring your own picnic lunch and blanket to enjoy an outdoor experience. Please note that Sibford School is a nut-free school, so be mindful of any food you purchase or prepare at home. All are invited to relax while enjoying and embracing the beautiful and stunning surroundings of the school grounds and to celebrate the year’s success.
Exciting activities are listed below, timings are approximate depending on weather.
If the Sibford weather is against us, picnics maybe eaten on the English Department Veranda or in the central foyer.
10:30am – Pavilion Opening
10:30am – 11:45am – Junior School Open Classrooms
10:30am – 11.45am – Junior School cafe run by Year 6 in Mary’s Garden.
11:00am – 12:00pm – Shakespeare, on site of the future Outdoor Theatre (behind Fielding)
11:00 am – Netball Showdown, Sports Hall
11:00am – 1:30pm – Science Department visits
11:00am – 2.00pm – Conquer the Climbing Wall, Sports Hall
Qualified instructors will be on hand to show you the basics and offer technical advice, should you want to try it!
11:30am – 1:00pm – Spanish Tapas, Food & Nutrition Department
Pupils will be demonstrating their cooking skills as part of their cross-curriculum links with the Food & Nutrition Department.
12:00pm – 12:30pm – Maypole Dancing, Junior School
12:00pm – 1:00pm – Art Department
12:00 – 1:00pm – Music, English Department Veranda

Visit the Old Scholars in Room 5 to find out more about SOSA throughout the day. Cheer on Old Scholars in the annual Angus Oakey Memorial Football Match, kicking of at 3:30pm and join us from 5:00pm at Holly House for an Afternoon Tea where you can meet old and current Sibfordians alike.
